Now, more than ever, we need your support to care for local people in their own homes.
Join a team with an outstanding reputation for home care and make a real difference at the heart of our community.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, inpatient and outpatient care is facing continued restrictions. Many more people are relying on home care services during these challenging times. To meet this increased need, Martlets Care is looking to recruit care staff with a range of experience and from a variety of backgrounds.
Who are we looking for?
Whether you’re an experienced carer, thinking of changing career, or looking for a part-time role, we’d love to hear from you. Working as one of our care assistants is often a first step into a career in care – some go on to train as nurses. For others, it’s a flexible job that can easily fit around any working lifestyle – be that family, student, or other part-time work or commitments. If you’re passionate about helping people, and you’d like to join our award-winning team, get in touch!

Why work for us?
- We provide the best training in the industry, and it’s always ongoing. We also pay for time spent training because we’re keen to support you while you learn. Martlets Care offers pay that is in line with the local living wage and we also offer additional benefits.
- Every one of our team members is highly-valued and cared for and we reward value-based achievements. That’s why we can proudly say that our employee retention rates are far above the industry norm; many of our carers have been with us since we launched in 2007. We were also awarded ‘Best Care Employer in the South East’ at the Great British Care Awards in 2017.
- You’ll learn from experts in the care sector. Many of our highly skilled team specialise in complex needs (including motor neurone disease). Also, as Martlets Care is part of the Martlets group, there are opportunities to work alongside the Martlets Hospice clinical teams. This may be out in the community or on the inpatient unit.
- You’ll be working with people who have genuine passion and commitment for making a real difference in people’s lives. We offer person-centred care that is tailored to the individual. And we focus on the detail, because we know it’s the little things that make the biggest difference.
