We believe everyone should feel cared for, respected and encouraged to live life to the full.
We exist to make days brighter and better through caring companionship that makes a real difference to all sorts of people’s lives in East Sussex.
Martlets Care is an award-winning domiciliary (home) care agency, supporting adults of all ages and support needs in Brighton and Hove to stay in the comfort of their own home – offering a gentle, reliable hand and consistent care companionship that makes life easier and enjoyable.
We’re one of only a few social enterprise care agencies in existence. And, as part of the Martlets Group, our profits are paid forward to the renowned and much-loved Martlets Hospice who support people living through a terminal illness and provide practical care and emotional support for their family and friends.
Martlets Care is care that pays itself forward!
Our story began in 2007, when we were born out of the desire to take the consistently high quality care and expertise of ‘Martlets Hospice at Home’, out into the wider community. And, at the same time, to provide a robust, sustainable and much needed income stream for the life-changing work of The Martlets organisation.
Covering Brighton and Hove and the surrounding areas – from Shoreham to Saltdean and as far north as Patcham – we’re a close-knit team of over 80 highly skilled and trained community-based carers, supported by a dedicated office-based care support team.
The number of clients and range of on-going medical conditions & mobility limitations we support continues to grow each day. We’ve become the leading home care agency for MND (Motor Neurone Disease) in East Sussex, and we regularly provide and share our industry-leading training, knowledge & expertise with other care organisations.
Our goals have remained unchanged from the very beginning; to redefine the perception of home care and to provide the highest quality of care and companionship that pays forward to change the lives of others.
Never resting, always responding, and knowing that it’s the littlest things that make the biggest difference, we set out each and every day to make people’s lives better and brighter.
